NLP - Hypnosis by another name

I suppose this makes the title of this blog official I quote Richard Bandler....

"You know you could sit around for three hours doing reframing. I can't believe that they still teach it. They teach it in courses that I am teaching with them. They don't teach it when I am around, but I just think it takes too long and it's too idiotic. It was a good step. But at that time the reason we had to do it was because people thought hypnosis was bad and they thought it didn't exist. These things don't even fit together but yet this was the current belief. So we made up a goofy way that they didn't have to say the word hypnosis, but they did all the same things.

Now that I don’t really think that‘s an issue anymore, I think any competent communicator who thinks hypnosis is bad or good is got to be wearing a dress and it has got to have a white collar on it at the same time. Because anybody else is not thinking about bad or good. They're thinking about what works and what doesn't work."

In the interview he also says that he believes change should be fast and that NLP has got very slow.

I have to say that this is what Jon has been saying about hypnosis for years, that it is easy to learn the techniques because mostly it's what's inside you anyway - you just have to know that you can do it.

To that end Jon has cut down his 5 day training to 3 days. In that 3 days you will learn the techniques that he has identified as being the most important and the most productive, rapid induction techniques, the way he uses symbolism to effect changes and how to influence people using conversation. Nothing complicated, just practical hypnosis for the modern world.

So why doesn't he do this online or by DVD, because to give it to you in th most effective way means practise. A bit like learning to drive a car really, you have to sit in it and do it, and you can learn enough to pass a test, but the real driving skills happen when you sit in the car and drive it on your own. But without those initial practical driving lessons you wouldn't have got to the point so quickly where you could put it to real use for yourself.

Not only does Jon teach you his methods really rapidly but we give you the whole package, materials and hotels as well - you don't need to think about anything - oh except your travel and bar bills ;-)
