It's 2009 on Thursday

Yes well it's that time of year again. Frankly I love each New Year. It always seems to me like a covering of snow, virginal and bright like a blank canvas to do amazing and exciting things.

All the reports say that 2009 is going to be tough - that money will be tight.

Change tough to Challenge and money as a series of numbers on a screen. My mentor, a very quiet, very successful entrepreneur, always said to me that money just goes round and round - sometimes it comes your way - sometimes you need to send it elsewhere to reap even greater rewards, but always remember your worth, your value and never underestimate what you do for others.

Passion leads to Success. Do what you feel really passionate about. Use the opportunities that come your way in 2009 to really explore.
Listening gives you greater understanding. Listen to others, by listening and caring you will earn greater respect.
Motive gives you a reason. Find your purpose and act upon it.
Investment is wisdom personifyed. Invest in yourself and be an inspiration to others.

My dear little grandson was born two weeks early on boxing day so I know that 2009 will bring me closer to a different role.
